How to Survive Clickageddon
A Collaborative Minesweeper Guide for New Recruits
Welcome to the grid, Sweeper. Here's everything you need to know to click smart, flag fast, and survive the chaos — together
1. The Objective
work with other players to clear the entire grid without triggering mines. Every tile is either:
  • Safe (you can click it),
  • A number tile (shows how many mines are touching it), or
  • A mine (click it and... boom).
Your mission: Uncover all safe tiles. No Solo heroes here — only collective victory.
2. The Basics
  • Click a tile to reveal it.
  • If it's a number, it tells you how many mines are in the 8 tiles around it.
  • Right-click (or hold) to place a flag — your team's warning not to click there.
  • Be careful: misplaced flags and mistaken clicks can cause chaos.
  • Exploding mines will cover surrounding tiles and place new mines randomly.
3. Working Together
  • Every move is shared globally — you're one of thousands of sweepers.
  • Communicate through pings, markers, or chat (coming soon)
  • Double-Check tiles before clicking. One mistake can cause a chain reaction.
  • Watch for active hotspots — some zones are more dangerous or crucial than others.
4. Flags = Life
  • Flags are you best tool. Use them to mark suspected mines.
  • Don't just guess. Use logic from revealed numbers and your teammates' clues.
  • If a tile is 100% a mine, flag it and move on.
  • Unsure? Hold off. Another player might have better info.
5. Advanced Tactics
  • Edge sweeping: Start from the edge of cleared areas and work you way inward.
  • Pattern recognition: Get familiar with classic Minesweeper patterns (like 1-2-1s, corners, etc.)
  • Team reads: Pay attention to how others flag.
6. What Happens When You Click a Mine?
  • BOOM. That section explodes — visible to everyone.
  • All adjacent Mines will explode too. Causing a chain reaction.
  • You will get a timeout depending on the number of mines that exploded.
  • The mines and their adjacent tiles will get covered and new mines will be placed randomly.
  • Take it as a lesson and try to prevent it next time.
7. Victory Conditions
All safe tiles are uncovered. It's that simple... right?
8. Pro Tips
  • If you're new, follow others and learn the patterns.
  • Use flags even if you're unsure — teammates can help confirm or deny.
  • Don't click blindly. This is not a solo game — it's a symphony of sweeping.
You're Ready.
The grid awaits. The mines are hidden. The world is watching. Click carefully. Trust your team. Ans sweep your way to glory.
